SELF ELEVATED BARGES – GULF OF GUINEA

The new year of 2019 is synonymous with new challenges for PROCESS SYSTEMS and more widely for the IWF GROUP!

For the first time since its creation, PROCESS SYSTEMS has been commissioned to manufacture 6 self elevated barges measuring 18 meters by 18 meters with a height of 3.2 meters, each weighing no less than 160 tonnes without its accessories. PROCESS SYSTEMS could not have risen to the challenge without the partnership of its Chinese sister company FIPE ensuring the manufacture of PROCESS SYSTEMS’ design in its 15 000 m² workshop together with its own ship loading dock.

The order was placed in July 2018 and PROCESS SYSTEMS will be able to deliver the first 3 barges in the Gulf of Guinea mid-February.

This collaboration shows the complementarity and reactivity of the companies of the IWF group. With its engineering capabilities based in France and its 3 manufacturing facilities based in France, Poland and China, the IWF group (previously CMI group) is equipped to meet new challenges.
